If you are looking at joining the Police Force, you have come to the right place.
We will prepare you for your fitness test, which you should pass with flying colours.
You current physical condition and fitness levels will determine how long it will take you to acquire the correct level of fitness to pass the test.
One of the most common reasons that applicants to the Police do make the grade is due to failing the fitness test.
You will need to be in fairly good condition to pass this police fitness test, because the police must be able to run for a reasonable distance as well as cope with the various physical challenges that present themselves.
You do not have to be super fit, however you need to be physically able to carry out your duties.
The Recruit Training is fairly challenging and the fitter you are when you start the easier the training will be.
We will train you to pass the 2 key fitness requirements.
DYNAMIC STRENGTH
Which involves performing five seated chest pushes and five seated back pulls on the Dyno machine to measure your strength.
ENDURANCE
You will be asked to run to and fro along a 15 metre track in time with a series of bleeps, which become increasingly faster. (also known as the bleed test)
