If you are looking at joining the Royal Air Force, you have come to the right place.
We will prepare you for your fitness test, which you should pass with flying colours (excuse the pun).
Your current physical condition and fitness levels will determine how long it will take you to acquire the correct level of fitness to pass the test. One of the most common reasons that applicants to the RAF do make the grade is due to failing the fitness test.
You do not have to be super fit, however you need to have a good basic level of fitness.
The recruit training is fairly challenging and the fitter you are when you start the easier the training will be.
All new recruits will need to pass a Basic Fitness Test, however the fitness test is divided into 2 sections,
